The wait is over! Iris Theatre are delighted to announce the cast of our next open-air summer performance: Hansel & Gretel and the Witch Baba Yaga.
The show follows our critically acclaimed production of Shakespeare’s Macbeth, continuing right now in the grounds of St Paul’s, the Actors’ Church. Hansel & Gretel runs from 3rd August – 3rd September, and tickets can be purchased here.
Offie-nominated for her production of Much Ado About Nothing last year, Amy Draper returns to direct this brand new adaptation of one of the Brothers Grimm’s most beloved stories, written by Iris Theatre Artistic Director Daniel Winder.

Earlier this year Rosie directed the community chorus in Abbey Wright’s production of The Grapes of Wrath for the Nuffield Theatre.

Josie trained at The Central School of Speech and Drama, graduated with a 1st class BA(Hons) Acting and received the Laurence Olivier Award Bursary whilst training.

Training: Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

Deshaye recently graduated from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. He trained on the CDT course (Collaborative and Devised Theatre, BA) which enjoys a creative partnership with the award winning Complicite theatre company. He recently took part in the Arcola Theatre’s evening of short new plays Dare to Dream playing James in The Incident. Roles whilst training: Santiago in Maktub; Witch in Macbeth; Faulkland in The Rivals; Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream; Yasha in The Cherry; Jim O’Connor in The Glass Menagerie. Hansel and Gretel is Deshaye’s professional acting debut.
